Known for her artistically designed sourdough loaves and for teaching how to bake sourdough bread the EASY way and have just as amazing results, we are welcoming our very talented friend Kirtley out to the orchard for this Autumn inspired workshop. You may have seen Kirtley's beautiful artisan sourdough featured at the Modern Homesteading Conference Farm Table Dinner this past June and at our more recent History Harvest Orchard Table Dinner and Apple Tasting Event. Her whimsically adorned sourdough is truly a work of art. In this workshop, Kirtley will instruct on how to make beautiful, pumpkin-shaped & pumpkin flavored sourdough loaves-perfect for Autumn. You'll be able to take this newly acquired craft home with you just ahead of the holidays to grace your family's many festive meals and celebrations. Included in the workshop: -Learn every step of the three-day sourdough bread making process -Hands on practice for each step of the process -Make the dough alongside Kirtley ( all ingredients provided), stretch and fold together, feed your starter together -We will utilize specialty bread flour that is glyphosate-free from the Flour Mill store in Hayden. Take Home: -A pretty glass jar of sourdough starter -A booklet of recipes with instructions and sourdough term definitions -A fresh batch of dough to take home with you
