Growing history one apple at a time means bringing back varieties that neared extinction but were saved because of their relevance and importance to the history books. At our preservation apple orchard, we are quite literally growing these historical varieties and preserving their genetic diversity one apple at a time, one graft at a time. The histories and stories of these varieties are not only worth saving, but sharing for future generations.
